From October 6 to 12, 2025, L’Estartit (Costa Brava, Catalonia, Spain) will host the CMAS World Cup Para Underwater Photo, an inclusive international event that will bring together underwater photographers from all over the world to showcase their talent in one of the most iconic marine environments of the Mediterranean

An Inclusive International Event

This championship highlights inclusivity in underwater sports and photography, promoting equal opportunities for all participants. The opening ceremony will take place on Monday, October 6, with the traditional Parade of Nations, followed by a welcome cocktail

Program Highlights

• Tuesday, October 7 – Official Training: practice dives in the competition area and a special lecture by Dr. Andreu Clarós on the History of Photographic Equipment
• Wednesday, October 8 & Thursday, October 9 – Competition Days: two full days of underwater photography dives (90 minutes per immersion), followed by editing sessions and official submission of memory cards
• Friday, October 10 – Jury Deliberation & Free Day: tourist excursions for participants while the jury deliberates
• Saturday, October 11 – Closing & Awarding Ceremony: official awards ceremony for the 2025 CMAS World Cup Para Underwater Photo, held at the L’Estartit Multipurpose Hall, followed by the award ceremony of the CMAS World Championship Underwater Photography and Video, and the closing dinner
• Sunday, October 12 – Departure of Delegations: breakfast and transfer of participants to the airport

The activities will take place at the Club Nàutic de l’Estartit, the Port of L’Estartit, and the Multipurpose Hall, with the support of local and regional institutions
